My name is Ayelel Meyen, and I am a current rower on the University of Michigan's women's rowing team. I began my athletic career participating in various sports before I was welcomed onto the University of Michigan's rowing team as a Novice. Since then, I have been welcomed back as a varsity athlete and thus have further honed my skills and leadership abilities. Outside of athletics, I am currently studying movement science in the School of Kinesiology. I have a passion for understanding biomechanics and what enables an athlete to reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I have a wide range of interests. I am passionate about increasing visibility for women's sports, content creation, spending time in the outdoors, and a variety of baking and crafting activities. I believe in the power of motivation and leadership, and am committed to supporting women in sports. I’m working on growing my social media platforms and would love to connect.
