I’m a former NFL defensive tackle, coach, mentor, and speaker who believes the lessons learned through football can shape every area of life.
I grew up in Houston and played college football at the University of Arizona before being selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. During my 10-year NFL career with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers, I learned the value of resilience, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. My journey included competing in Super Bowl LIV and being inducted into the University of Arizona Ring of Honor two milestones that remind me of what’s possible through hard work and perseverance.
Today, I serve as the Defensive Line Coach at Houston Christian High School, where I’m passionate about developing young men both on and off the field. My goal isn’t just to help athletes become better football players it’s to help them become better leaders, teammates, and men of character.
I also serve as a Texans Legends Ambassador, allowing me to stay connected to the game and the city that helped shape me. Whether I’m coaching, mentoring, speaking, or serving in the community, I strive to make a lasting impact by leading with integrity, faith, and purpose.
I believe success isn’t measured by what you accomplish for yourself, but by the lives you impact along the way. My mission is simple: leave every person, team, and community better than I found them.
